National Caregivers Day: Honoring Black Women Caring for Loved Ones with Alzheimer's & Dementia

Today, on National Caregivers Day, we shine a light on the countless Black women who selflessly dedicate themselves to caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's and dementia.

Your unwavering strength, resilience, and compassion are an inspiration to us all. We see you, and we honor the profound impact you make on the lives of your families and communities.

Caring for someone with Alzheimer's or dementia can be an incredibly challenging journey. Remember, you are not alone. There are resources and support available to help you on your path:

Let's also remember to celebrate these incredible caregivers! Share your stories, offer words of encouragement, and extend a helping hand whenever possible. Together, we can create a more supportive system for all caregivers, especially Black women who often carry a disproportionate burden.
